Overnight Moorings

These are usually marked by blue posts, 48 hours maximum stay. Mooring sites are free of charge except where indicated below and have a time limit of 48 hours.  Please note, moorings are first come first served and spaces are not guaranteed. If you are mooring at Tewkesbury or Stratford upon Avon, during bust periods find a suitable mooring before paying for your mooring. Moorings cannot be reserved in advance. At busy times it may be necessary for boats to make the best use of the moorings available. Please treat other river users with courtesy and, where necessary, moor close up to the next boat or even breast up alongside. This is particularly important if rising river levels require boats to stop and moor. Mooring in lock landing stages and in lock approach channels is permitted only when locking and at no other time.

Accessible Mooring at Tewkesbury There is a wheelchair accessible mooring at Tewkesbury on the Avon Level next to the lock entrance. This is available for Blue Badge Holders. The River Avon Welcome Centre boat occupies this mooring when not in use. We will move her off the mooring ready for your arrival. Please book this mooring in advance using the booking form below, we will contact you if it is not available and offer alternative dates or refund.
