The bottom gate at Strensham Lock sustained a significant impact last season which resulted in underwater damage to a gate.
Contractors are now mobilising to the lock in preparation to stank off and do a full de-water of the lock in order to undertake an underwater survey and the required major repairs.
The lock will therefore be closed from Monday 31st March until 15 May 2025
